Accommodation and facilities

What type of accommodation do you offer?

We have 4 comfortable wooden camping pods in a quiet field on our small farm in rural Falkirk. Each pod sleeps 2 people. The pods contain two camp beds with camping mats (you bring your own sleeping bags) and pillows with pillowcases. They are ideal for walkers, cyclists, couples, and small families looking for a peaceful stay.

Do the pods have electricity or heating?

The pods do not have mains electricity or heating. They are insulated and double-glazed to keep them warm. We provide lanterns and battery lights. You can use the electricity and log-burning stove in our communal building, called “The Byre”. This is also where you will find the toilets and showers.

What is The Byre?

The Byre is our communal indoor area. It is the heart of our site and a perfect place to relax. It includes:

  • a log-burner, sofas, and tables
  • a kitchen area with microwaves, toaster, kettle, and fridge
  • crockery and cutlery
  • modern toilets and hot showers
